Dr. Donald Craig
A native of Saint John, Dr. Donald Craig is one of New Brunswick's leading medical philanthropists. A graduate of Saint John High School, Dr. Craig attended Mount Allison University (B.Sc), Dalhousie Medical School (M.D) and received the Senator Emerson award for top intern. He practiced medicine for 43 years in Saint John with his 3 brothers, and was the 1st Chief of Family Medicine, and 1st Chief of Emergency Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Craig was part of the organization responsible for bringing the Saint John Flames Franchise to the city, and has served as a member of the medical team.
A few of the organizations Dr. Craig has been involved with is: The Saint John Medical Society (President & Past-President), NB College of Physicians & Surgeons (President & Past-President) and Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation (Honorary Staff) to name a few. Dr. Craig is the founder of the New Brunswick Medical Education Foundation and now serves in an advisory capacity.
A few of Dr. Craig’s hobbies include medical politics, investments, hockey & model railroads. He and his wife Anne also founded one of the top boxer kennels in Atlantic Canada
